Where Now to Go?One obstacle in the path of harmonious multiculturalism is the government of such a society. Even countries which are supposedly democratic usually have a government which consists mostly of one ethnic group. In Europe and in North America, it is white people. Unless we can create a truly democratic society, some groups are going to feel sidelined. Representative democracy is the name of the most common system used to govern supposedly democratic countries. The universal feature of such systems is that the people, who are supposedly in control, elect a legislative body, or parliament. ThisWhere Now to Go?
